Responsibilities

- Install and commission telecom network equipment at customer sites.
- Conduct site surveys and prepare project reports.
- Check equipment and materials before installation.
- Test fiber-optic connections and network performance.
- Configure equipment and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Coordinate with customers, installation teams, and engineers.
- Perform network acceptance tests and document results.
- Ensure installations meet quality and safety standards.

Requirements

- Basic knowledge of fiber-optic communication systems.
- Familiarity with telecom technologies such as DWDM, OTN, and SDH.
- Understanding of telecom equipment installation and configuration.
- Knowledge of fiber-optic testing tools such as OTDR is beneficial.
- Ability to troubleshoot network and connectivity issues.
- Familiarity with telecom equipment from Ciena or other vendors is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
- Valuable coordination and documentation skills.
