Role & responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate books of accounts for the real estate company.
- Handle project-wise accounting, project costing, construction expenses, and budget monitoring.
- Maintain customer accounts, track payment receipts, outstanding dues, and customer ledger reconciliations.
- Manage vendor and contractor accounts, verify invoices, process payments, and reconcile outstanding balances.
- Ensure GST compliance, including input tax credit reconciliation, return filing, and maintenance of supporting documents.
- Handle TDS compliance, including Sections 194-IA and 194C, as applicable.
- Maintain RERA-related financial records, project accounts, and compliance documentation.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and monitor project-wise receipts and payments.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, project cost statements, cash flow reports, and other financial summaries.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants, and internal departments for audits and statutory compliance.
- Ensure timely accounting entries,



accurate financial records, and compliance with applicable accounting and taxation requirements.
- Stay updated on the latest accounting practices, taxation regulations, and real estate industry trends.

Preferred candidate profile

- Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Working knowledge of GST and TDS compliance, including applicable provisions under Sections 194-IA and 194C.
- Knowledge of RERA-related accounting and financial compliance in the real estate industry.
- Understanding of project-wise accounting, project costing, and customer and vendor account management.
- Experience in bank reconciliation, ledger reconciliation, and MIS report preparation.
- Positive analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
