Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Manager with 12-15 years of experience in managing end-to-end accounting operations for an Indian entity within the IT/ITES industry. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Indian statutory compliances, taxation, audits, financial reporting, and banking operations, along with experience in leading a team of accounting professionals.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including vendor payments, financial transactions, and statutory compliances.
- Ensure compliance with Indian regulations, including GST, Income Tax, TDS, and employee-related taxes.
- Review financial transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and tax compliance.
- Coordinate and successfully complete internal and statutory audits.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and budget-versus-actual variance analysis.
- Manage banking operations, including inward and outward remittances, and generate Bank Realisation Certificates (BRC).
- Supervise and mentor a team of five accounting professionals, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
- Maintain accounting records, financial databases, and supporting documentation.
- Implement management-approved accounting policies, procedures,



and internal controls.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiency, and stronger financial controls.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, auditors, banks, and cross-functional teams.

Required Skills and Experience

- 1215 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably within an IT/ITES organization handling Indian entity accounting.
- CA Inter or MBA in Finance.
- Strong knowledge of Indian statutory compliances, including GST, Income Tax, TDS, and employee-related taxes.
- Proven experience in internal audits, statutory audits, and financial reporting.
- Experience in managing and mentoring a team of approximately five members.
- Hands-on experience using Oracle ERP as an end user.
- Experience with EPM tools will be an added advantage.
- Positive understanding of banking transactions, inward and outward remittances, and BRC generation.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet compliance deadlines, and drive continuous process improvements.
