Role & responsibilities
Transporter Management
- Vendor Coordination: Communicating with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, transport vendors, and drivers for vehicle placement.
- Billing & Reconciliation: Verifying transporter invoices, tracking Proof of Delivery (POD) documents, and settling financial discrepancies.
- Live Tracking: Monitoring vehicle movement via GPS systems to manage real-time exceptions or route deviations
- Preferred candidate profile
- Daily Dashboards: Creating and updating daily, weekly, and monthly logistics trackers detailing dispatches, transit delays, and stock status
- KPI Reporting: Tracking key performance indicators like On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery, turnaround time (TAT), and fleet utilization rates.
- Cost Control Analysis: Preparing freight-spend reports to identify leaks, variations, and potential cost optimize
