Job Purpose
The role holder will be responsible for the reliable and controlled operation of the UK&I; Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) / Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) environment and supporting Management Information Data Warehouse.
The role provides hands-on technical and operational ownership across OBI/OAS, including monitoring ETL processes and scheduled data loads, validating data accuracy, conducting data-quality audits, managing user access, developing and enhancing dashboards, investigating production issues and supporting the ongoing performance and stability of the reporting environment.
The role holder will work closely with UK&I; stakeholders, Technology teams and external delivery partners to manage reporting priorities, resolve data and system issues, improve ETL and reporting processes and deliver enhancements to the MI environment.
The role will also contribute to significant data and MI initiatives, automation and service improvements, helping transition manual and legacy reporting processes towards more scalable, controlled and self-service BI solutions.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Essential

- Strong relevant experience in Business Intelligence, Management Information, data warehousing and enterprise reporting environments.
- Strong hands-on experience working with Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) / Oracle Analytics (OAS) or equivalent Oracle Analytics environments).
- Strong understanding of data warehouse architecture, relational databases and reporting data models.
- Good hands-on SQL capability and experience investigating data across source, transformation, warehouse and reporting layers.
- Practical experience monitoring and troubleshooting ETL processes, scheduled data loads and data pipelines.
- Experience performing data reconciliation, validation, integrity checks and data-quality audits.
- Experience developing, maintaining and enhancing enterprise BI dashboards and management reports.
- Experience investigating and resolving production reporting, data or dashboard issues.
- Experience administering BI users, roles, access and permissions.
- Understanding of data security, controlled access and appropriate governance of business information.
- Experience supporting business-critical BI or MI services with scheduled daily, period-end or weekend processing.
- Ability to analyse problems end-to-end and identify whether an issue originates within source data, ETL, warehouse, reporting logic or the BI presentation layer.
- Ability to translate business reporting requirements into practical technical solutions.
