Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a agile and detail-oriented Finance & Accounts professional to join our core team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end accounting operations, financial reporting in compliance with IND AS, capital and operational expenditure management, inventory control, and cost optimization. This role requires strong hands-on experience in SAP (FI/CO modules), debtor and creditor management, and vendor negotiations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting & Balance Sheet Finalisation

- Lead periodic financial closing and finalisation of financial statements in accordance with IND AS and statutory guidelines.
- Ensure general ledger integrity, accurate month-end and year-end accruals, and comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare documentation for internal, statutory, and tax audits.

2. Capex & Opex Management

- Evaluate, track, and monitor Capital Expenditure (Capex) and Operational Expenditure (Opex) budgets.
- Perform variance analysis comparing actual spend against approved budgets, recommending corrective actions where needed.
- Assist management with financial feasibility, ROI, and payback period calculations for major capital projects.

3. Debtor & Creditor Management

- Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)



functions to optimize cash flow and working capital.
- Monitor credit limits, aging analysis, and timely collection of outstanding receivables.
- Manage vendor payables, payment cycles, contractor bill verification, and reconciliation.

4. Inventory & Store Management

- Oversee inventory accounting, stock valuation, and store reconciliations in alignment with physical stock audits.
- Monitor slow-moving and obsolete stock to minimize write-offs and optimize working capital.
- Coordinate with supply chain and store teams for seamless material movement accounting.

5. Cost Management & Negotiation

- Implement cost control measures and conduct cost-benefit analyses across operations.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to negotiate favorable commercial terms, payment schedules, and discounts with vendors.
- Analyze product/project costing, standard vs. actual costs, and operational efficiencies.

6. Systems & Statutory Compliance (SAP & Taxation)

- Execute day-to-day finance transactions and reporting using SAP (FI/CO).
- Ensure compliance with Direct and Indirect Tax regulations, including GST, TDS, Advance Tax, and return filings.
- Manage banking operations, cash flow forecasting, and CC limit renewals.
