Job Summary

We are hiring a Senior Medical Writer to work on promotional content for global pharma brands. You will own full campaigns, review the work of junior writers and join calls with the client team. You will write for doctors and patients, mostly for the US market.

Work mode: Remote. You may be asked to move to Bengaluru within the next 6 months. Shift: US shift, 5:30 pm to 3:00 am IST. Full time.

What you will do

- Write promotional content for pharma brands: emails, e-detailers (CLM), leave-behinds, banners, web pages, social posts and video scripts.
- Write for doctors (HCPs) and patients, mostly for the US market.
- Find and read the right sources: clinical studies, prescribing information, treatment guidelines.
- Back every claim with a reference and annotate it correctly.
- Prepare files for medical, legal and regulatory (MLR) review in Veeva Vault PromoMats, and make the changes reviewers ask for.
- Adapt approved global content for local markets.
- Check your own work for accuracy, references, grammar and consistency before you submit it.
- Work with project managers, designers, editors and reviewers to meet deadlines.

What you must have

- 5 to 8 years of medical writing, with most of it on promotional pharma content.
- Hands-on Veeva Vault PromoMats experience (required).




- Experience reviewing other writers work.
- Degree: MBBS, BDS, Pharm.D, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or a masters or PhD in life sciences.
- Medical writing experience with a pharma company or a healthcare communications agency.
- Hands-on promotional writing for pharma brands. You must be able to name the assets you wrote.
- At least one digital asset in your work: email, e-detailer, banner or web page.
- Good referencing and annotation skills (AMA style).
- Transparent written and spoken English.
- Willing to work the US shift (5:30 pm to 3:00 am IST) on a long-term basis.

Good to have

- Veeva Vault PromoMats experience (required for Senior Medical Writer and Medical Lead).
- Content written for the US market.
- Oncology experience. Other areas are also welcome: immunology, haematology, cardiology, neurology, nephrology (kidney care), vaccines, rare diseases.
- Experience writing for medical device brands.
- Open to moving to Bengaluru within 6 months.
- Can join immediately or within 45 days.
