Role & responsibilities

- Identify, develop, and onboard new casting suppliers.
- Manage end-to-end outsourcing activities for cast iron, SG iron, steel, and alloy castings.
- Coordinate RFQs, techno-commercial evaluations, and supplier negotiations.
- Ensure supplier compliance with quality, delivery, and commercial requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance through KPIs such as PPM, OTD, and rejection rates.
- Support capacity planning and develop alternate sources to mitigate supply risks.
- Lead annual cost reduction and value engineering projects.
- Drive localization, resourcing, and process optimization initiatives.
- Conduct should-cost analysis and benchmark supplier pricing.
- Negotiate price reductions, productivity perks, and commercial agreements.
- Implement VA/VE projects in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
- Deliver yearly procurement cost-saving targets.
- Lead strategic sourcing projects aligned with business objectives.




- Develop long-term supplier partnerships and sourcing strategies.
- Support new product development through supplier involvement and APQP activities.
- Drive digitalization, inventory optimization, and supply chain improvement projects.
- Manage risk mitigation plans for critical casting commodities.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams involving Quality, Engineering, Planning, and Manufacturing.

BE Mechanical / DME

No experience or 8-10 years experience
