Role & responsibilities

- Develop and implement safety procedures, policies, and guidelines.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification (HIRA/JSA).
- Perform regular safety inspections and audits.
- Investigate workplace incidents and prepare reports.
- Monitor compliance with the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system.
- Conduct safety training, mock drills, and awareness programs.
- Ensure the availability and proper use of PPE.
- Maintain safety records and prepare weekly and monthly reports.
- Monitor high-risk activities, including equipment testing, confined space work, hot work, lifting operations, and work at height.
- Conduct safety committee meetings and participate in Management of Change (MOC) meetings.
- Ensure compliance with factory regulations,



fire safety requirements, ISO systems, and other statutory requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

- 34 years of experience in industrial safety, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial plant.
- Hands-on experience in safety inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety training.
- Knowledge of statutory safety regulations, fire safety, and ISO management systems.
- Solid communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to monitor high-risk operations and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
