Post: Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Field Visits & Territory Coverage:

• Conduct 6 to 8 client visits daily across local markets, commercial hubs, and nearby trade clusters.

• Target small-to-medium businesses: local food brands, sweet and bakery shops, retail product manufacturers, agarbatti/spice units, clinics/hospitals, schools, colleges, and event organizers.

Order Inquiry & Requirement Gathering:

• Collect existing packaging and print samples directly from clients.

• Note down accurate requirements: box dimensions (L × W × H), board type (Duplex board, Grey back, White back, Art card), GSM, quantities, and finishes (gloss/matte lamination, UV coating, die-cutting).

• Coordinate with your internal production/estimating desk to get cost calculations and promptly deliver quotations.

Proof Sign-Off & Job Handover:

• Deliver physical sample dummies, shade cards, or printed proofs to clients to obtain physical/signed approvals before bulk production begins.

• Ensure the design, text, and dimensions are strictly agreed upon to avoid reprints.

Payment Collection & Relationship Maintenance:

• Coordinate order delivery and ensure invoice sign-off.

• Collect advance payments (for new/retail clients) and follow up on credit balances within agreed credit cycles (e.g., 15–30 days).

• Maintain consistent touchpoints with existing customers to capture repetitive monthly print runs. Candidate Criteria (Eligibility & Skills)





• Experience: 3 to 5 years in direct field sales, counter-to-counter B2B sales, distribution sales, outdoor advertising/signage, or print/stationery trade.

Freshers with high energy, good local market knowledge, and an inclination toward field sales can also be considered.

• Education: Graduate (B.Com, B.A., B.Sc., BBA, MBA).

• Languages: Fluent in Odia and Hindi (mandatory for rapport-building with local shop owners and traders).

• Basic functional English (reading job slips, WhatsApp messages, and quotations).

• Mandatory Operational Requirements:

o Own two-wheeler (bike or scooter) with a valid driving license.

o Smartphone with WhatsApp and GPS access for daily live-location sharing and field reporting.

• Key Skills & Personality:

o Street-smart with basic arithmetic skills (calculating rates per thousand sheets, per box, or per unit).

o Polite, punctuality, and persistence in making follow-up calls and visits.

Fixed In-Hand Salary: ₹12,000 to ₹15,000 per month (depending on prior sales experience).

Fuel & Travel Allowance: • Variable: ₹2.50 to ₹3.00 per kilometer based on actual odometer readings logged during field visits.

Performance Incentive Model: • 1% to 1.5% of the net billed value on new client orders (credited once 100% payment is cleared).

0.5% on repeat client orders to incentivize account retention.
