PetCalm Co. is looking for a video editor who is hungry to learn and become exceptional at editing ecommerce ads for Facebook & Instagram.

We care about how you think, how quickly you learn, and how well you apply feedback. You should follow instructions carefully, ask thoughtful questions, learn from mistakes, and bring those lessons into the next edit.

Key Responsibilities

1. Clear communication: Fast, clear communication is critical. Youll keep us updated on progress, flag blockers early, and make sure nothing gets lost or delayed. We work quickly and rely on everyone staying responsive.

2. Applying feedback: Take revision notes and apply them precisely and quickly, without making the same mistake twice. Improving from feedback is the single most important skill in this role.

3. Hook and variation editing: Produce multiple hook and format variations of a single ad for testing, keeping each one clean and native.

4. AI generation & prompting: Use AI tools to generate video, images, and how to prompt. This means writing precise detailed prompts. Were not looking for obvious AI slop you should have the feel to tell the difference between a generation that passes as authentic and one that looks fake, and the skill to push a prompt until it hits the former.

What we are looking for

1. Experience with video editing with ecommerce brands, (add examples in your portfolio)

2. Quick learner who's curious

3. Someone who understands instructions, pays attention to detail, and applies what they learn without needing the same corrections repeatedly.

4. Confidence using Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or a comparable editing tool.

5. Willingness to learn AI image and video tools. Experience with Higgsfield, Kling, Google Flow, or similar tools is a plus.

Note: This is a part time, project based role with the opportunity to transition to full-time work as you progress
