- Mandatory Skill: SAP Knowledge
Position 2:
- Qualification: B.E. Mechanical Engineering
Key Responsibilities
- Collect material and service requirements from all divisions/departments.
- Send enquiries and RFQs to relevant vendors.
- Collect and analyse quotations received from vendors.
- Prepare comparative statements for commercial evaluation and selection.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO).
- Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with the Stores and Accounts teams for GRN processing and related documentation.
- Identify, develop, and onboard new vendors as per business requirements.
- Maintain solid relationships with existing suppliers.
- Regularly monitor and maintain supplier performance in terms of On-Time Delivery (OTD) and Quality Performance.
- Conduct regular supplier evaluations and performance assessments.
- Ensure timely procurement of indirect materials while maintaining quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure smooth procurement operations.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of the procurement and purchase process.
- Good vendor management and vendor development skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyse quotations and prepare comparison statements.
- Good coordination and follow-up skills.
- SAP knowledge is mandatory for one position.
- Knowledge of indirect material procurement will be an added advantage.
