Captain: Responsibilities
1. Lead and supervise the service team (stewards, waiters and runners) on the floor
2. Welcome guests warmly, seat them and present the menu
3. Take orders accurately and suggest dishes, specials and add-ons to increase sales
4. Coordinate with the kitchen, bar and cashier so orders flow smoothly
5. Ensure food and beverages are served on time and at the right standard
6. Monitor tables during service and respond quickly to guest needs
7. Handle guest feedback and complaints politely and resolve them on the spot
8. Brief the team before each shift on menu items, specials and targets
9. Maintain cleanliness, table setup and hygiene standards as per FSSAI norms
10. Assist with billing, reservations, stock checks and closing duties
