Role & responsibilities
- Manage daily glass production & shift operations.
- Monitor furnace, forming & production processes.
- Achieve production targets, quality & productivity.
- Monitor process parameters & machine performance.
- Handle manpower allocation & shift planning.
- Coordinate with Quality & Maintenance teams.
- Troubleshoot process and machine-related issues.
- Monitor rejection, wastage, yield & downtime.
- Ensure SOP, safety, 5S & Kaizen compliance.
- Maintain production reports, logbooks & MIS.
- Support preventive maintenance & shutdown activities.
- Implement process improvement and cost reduction.
- Monitor raw material consumption & production efficiency.
- Conduct RCA for production losses and defects.
- Ensure smooth and secure continuous production operations.
