Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components and applications. The role requires working within dynamic project environments, applying up-to-date development frameworks, and following agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business objectives and continuous improvement of software performance are integral parts of the daily workflow.

Roles Responsibilities:
- Design and develop efficient and scalable data models in SAP HANA Cloud using Calculation Views and SQLScript.
- Implement calculated fields, aggregations, and business logic based on Profit Center, Business Line and MRP Controller requirements.
- Collaborate with finance and supply chain stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimize data models for performance, security, and reusability.
- Ensure models are well-documented, version-controlled,



and adhere to best practices.
- Work with functional consultants to validate data accuracy and business alignment.
- Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to increase efficiency.

Professional Technical Skills:
- 7.5+ years of experience in SAP HANA native development or SAP HANA Cloud.
- Strong expertise in Calculation Views, SQLScript, Table Functions, Stored Procedures and scheduler jobs.
- Solid understanding of SAP ERP data structures, especially BSEG (Financial Documents), MARC (Material Plant Data), MARA (Material Master), Material documents (MSEG) and ACDOCA (S4/HANA).
- Experience with profit center accounting and MRP/planning-related data.
- Familiarity with data modeling principles, performance optimization, and analytic privileges.
- Ability to work in SAP Business Application Studio, SAP HANA Database Explorer.
- Experience using Git-based source code management tools for version control and collaboration (Bitbucket).
- Familiar with automated deployment pipelines for promoting changes across environments (Jenkins).
- Good communication skills to work with both business users and technical teams.
- Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams using Agile Scrum methodologies.

- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Native HANA SQL Modeling Development.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
