NexGenTek is hiring! We’re looking for a proactive, analytical, and technology-driven Accountant with hands-on Zoho Books experience to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to go beyond traditional bookkeeping and gain experience in finance operations, financial auditing, process improvement, AI, and automation.

Location: Remote – Pan India

Position: Accountant – Zoho Books

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience: 2–3+ years

? Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping using Zoho Books.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Review existing financial records, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
- Manage vendor bills, customer invoices, payments, expenses, and ledger maintenance.
- Support GST, TDS, payroll, PF, and other applicable Indian accounting and compliance activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external Chartered Accountants.
- Support finance operations across recruitment, CRM, HR, and IT procurement.
- Explore AI tools and automation to improve accounting accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare financial summaries, reconciliation reports, and audit findings.

? What We’re Looking For

We’re not looking for someone who only enters transactions and prepares reports. We want an accountant who understands the reason behind the numbers,



can review existing books, identify issues, manage day-to-day finance operations, work confidently with Zoho Books, and use technology to improve processes.

✅ Hands-on experience with Zoho Books.

✅ Solid accounting fundamentals and bookkeeping knowledge.

✅ Practical experience in bank reconciliation and financial record review.

✅ Understanding of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting practices.

✅ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

✅ Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.

✅ Interest in AI, automation, and technology-driven finance operations.

Good to Have

- Experience with Zoho One and integrated business applications.
- Exposure to QuickBooks or US accounting.
- Experience in financial audits, process improvement, or workflow automation.
