Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Works Manager role based in Thrissur.

The Works

Manager oversees day-to-day operations of the service workshop, including scheduling and monitoring vehicle repairs, maintenance activities, and quality checks. The role involves managing technician and service teams, ensuring adherence to manufacturer standards, safety protocols, and turnaround time commitments.

Manager coordinates with service advisors and customer support teams to address customer concerns, optimize workflow, and enhance service satisfaction. The position also includes responsibility for workshop productivity,



inventory and tools management, cost control, and reporting on key performance indicators to senior management.

Qualifications

- Strong workshop management and operations skills, including planning, coordination, and supervision of service activities.
- Ability to lead and develop service teams, with skills in people management, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution.
- Solid understanding of automotive service processes, vehicle diagnostics, and quality control standards.
- Customer service and communication skills to handle queries, explain technical issues clearly, and support a positive service experience.
- Basic proficiency in using service management software, documentation tools, and data reporting for operational tracking.
- Relevant technical qualification in automobile engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field; formal training from an OEM or recognized institute is an advantage.
- Previous experience in an automotive workshop or dealership environment, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Ability to work on-site in Thrissur, manage time effectively, and adapt to a fast-paced service workplace.
