Role Description – Technical Sales Engineer | Coimbatore The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying customer requirements, recommending suitable industrial automation and process control solutions, and preparing technical and commercial quotations. This is a full time, on-site position based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

Key responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations, addressing customer technical queries, developing new business opportunities, managing sales pipelines, following up on leads, and visiting customer sites. The role involves coordinating with engineering and production teams to ensure accurate solution delivery, while maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective customers. The candidate will also be expected to stay updated on product specifications, industrial applications, market trends, and competitor offerings to support effective sales strategies.

Qualifications

- Strong technical sales and business development skills,



with the ability to identify customer needs, recommend suitable solutions, and close sales.
- Knowledge of sales engineering and technical support, including interpreting technical requirements and configuring appropriate solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
- A degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline is preferred.
- Experience in industrial automation, process control, or related industries will be an advantage.
- Ability to understand technical drawings, electrical control systems, and industrial applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills, a customer-focused approach, and willingness to travel for customer visits across Coimbatore and nearby industrial areas.
