Tekiknow Technologies is looking for a Technical Manager to be the technical authority for our near-field (NFTR) and compact antenna test range (CATR) chambers, and the customer-facing technical voice from enquiry to acceptance.

Responsibilities

- Passionate about antennas and measurement, and motivated by seeing a chamber perform to specification on site.
- Comfortable with customers and with commercial discussion; not a research-only profile.
- Willing to be accountable for delivered performance, including the acceptance test result.
- Rigorous with numbers and in documenting decisions.
- Builds on first principles and is ready to learn chamber engineering on the job.

Qualifications

- M.E./M.Tech or Ph.D. in RF & Microwave, Antennas or Electromagnetics.
- 5+ years of hands-on antenna design and measurement, with uncertainty analysis.
- Strong grounding in near-field to far-field transformation (planar, cylindrical, spherical), probe correction and truncation error.
- Working knowledge of CATR: reflector types, feed design and quiet-zone evaluation.

- Working knowledge of anechoic chamber fundamentals: absorber selection and layout, reflectivity, RF shielding, positioner and scanner accuracy.
- Proficiency with VNAs, antenna measurement software and standard gain horns.
- Ability to write and review a technical specification and an acceptance test plan.
- Fluent written and spoken English; confident in front of senior customer engineers.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites in India and abroad.

Valuable to have

- Sponsored-project or industry work with DRDO, ISRO, defence PSUs, aerospace or telecom customers.
- Experience commissioning or running an NFTR or CATR facility, or a prior role at a chamber or measurement-system vendor.
- RCS or radome measurement exposure.
- Publications or patents in arrays, reflectors, feeds or radomes.
- Exposure to project costing, vendor management and customer contracts.
