Role purpose

- Lead the technical delivery and reputation of Egis's data centre architecture offer across India
- Act as the senior architectural authority on hyperscale and colocation programmes, from concept through to handover
- Combine design leadership with client engagement, bid support and P&L; accountability

Key responsibilities

- Provide architectural discipline leadership on hyperscale and colocation data centre projects
- Set and uphold design standards, QA/QC and technical governance
- Lead client presentations, design reviews and technical interviews at senior level
- Support bids and proposals, including strategy, scope, resourcing and fee build up
- Own P&L; performance for the architecture discipline: utilisation, margin, forecasting and resource planning
- Coach, mentor and develop senior architects and team leads
- Drive BIM enabled, coordinated and productive delivery with digital teams
- Build relationships with hyperscalers, colocation operators, developers and contractors

Discipline focus: Architecture

- Masterplanning of hyperscale and colocation campuses, including phasing and expansion strategy
- Building design,



space planning and security zoning for data centre facilities
- Modular and repeatable design approaches that support speed to market
- Integration with MEP, structure and civil disciplines, led through BIM
- Sustainability, including net zero and embodied carbon considerations
- Planning, authority approvals and local regulatory coordination

Essential experience and skills

- 18+ years in architecture, with 8+ years in data centres
- Proven delivery of hyperscale and colocation facilities, ideally multi site and multi region
- Prior experience at Director, Associate Director or Technical Director level
- Track record of managing a P&L; or significant commercial responsibility
- Excellent presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills, comfortable with C level and client stakeholders
- Strong coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams, with advanced BIM capability
- Professionally qualified architect, registered with the Council of Architecture (India) or an equivalent chartered body
- Degree in architecture

Desirable

- Middle East data centre experience
- Experience working on international or multicultural teams
- Experience building or scaling a data centre practice
