Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Sirsa for Teachers in Physics, English, French, Accounts, and for the Librarian position. Teachers will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with Cambridge curriculum standards, assess student progress, prepare instructional materials, and maintain accurate academic records. They will support learners through differentiated instruction, conduct classroom activities, participate in examinations, and collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and school events.

The Librarian will manage the library collection, organize and catalog resources, assist learners and staff with research and reading materials, promote reading programs, and ensure a quiet, organized, and accessible learning space.



All team members are expected to participate in staff meetings, communicate regularly with families as needed, and contribute to a positive, protected, and inclusive school environment.

Qualifications

- Strong subject-matter expertise in Physics, English, French, or Accounts, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt teaching methods to diverse learners.
- For the Librarian role, proficiency in library management, cataloging systems, information organization, and guiding learners in research and reading choices.
- Experience with lesson planning, classroom management, student assessment, and using educational resources and technology to enhance learning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, learners, and families.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the subject area, Education, or Library Science; formal teacher training or a B.Ed is preferred for teaching roles.
- Familiarity with Cambridge Assessment International Education or other international curricula is an advantage.
- Demonstrated commitment to learner-centered education, inclusive practices, and continuous professional development.
- Ability to work on-site in Sirsa, maintain punctuality and reliability, and uphold school policies and professional ethics.
