Role Description The Survey Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, responsible for overseeing survey activities for infrastructure and EPC projects. This position includes planning and executing field surveys, supervising survey teams, and ensuring accurate collection of topographical and alignment data for transmission lines, railways, civil works, and related projects.

Manager reviews and validates survey measurements, prepares survey reports and drawings, and coordinates closely with engineering, project management, and construction teams to support design and execution.



The role involves selecting appropriate survey methods and equipment, monitoring data quality, and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines, company standards, and relevant regulations.

Manager also supports budgeting and scheduling for survey work, manages external survey vendors when required, and contributes to continuous improvement of survey processes and tools.

Qualifications

- Strong technical expertise in land and engineering surveys, including topographical, route, and construction surveys, and proficiency with modern survey instruments (e.g., Total Station, GPS/GNSS, digital levels).
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and maps, prepare survey plans and profiles, and work with CAD or GIS software for data processing and visualization.
- Demonstrated experience in managing field survey teams, planning survey activities, and coordinating with cross-functional project stakeholders in infrastructure or EPC projects.
- Knowledge of relevant survey standards, safety practices, and regulatory requirements related to power transmission, railways, civil, and related infrastructure works.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in measurements, calculations, and documentation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and external partners, and the ability to provide clear technical guidance.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Geomatics, or a related discipline; professional certification in surveying is an advantage.
