We are looking for a skilled and versatile System Administrator to oversee, maintain, and secure our core IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be equally proficient in managing on-premises network equipment and physical servers, as well as administering cloud-hosted environments (AWS / Azure / GCP).

In this role, you will ensure maximum uptime, optimal system performance, reliable data backups, and robust cybersecurity across both physical and cloud infrastructures.

Key ResponsibilitiesOn-Premises Infrastructure Management

- Install, configure, and maintain physical server hardware, racks, UPS systems, and local networking gear (routers, switches, firewalls, access points).
- Administer Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPO), DNS, DHCP, and local file servers.
- Manage employee hardware (desktops/laptops), OS deployment (Windows/Linux/macOS), and daily IT helpdesk troubleshooting.
- Maintain endpoint protection, antivirus solutions, and ensure software patching across all local endpoints.

Cloud Infrastructure Management
- Deploy, configure, and manage cloud instances, virtual networks, storage, and IAM roles across cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Implement containerized environments and basic orchestration tools if applicable (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Monitor cloud resource utilization, optimize cloud architecture for cost efficiency, and automate routine tasks using scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python).

Network, Security & System Health
- Configure and maintain site-to-site VPNs, user SSL VPNs, subnets,



VLANs, and firewall security policies.
- Monitor overall system performance, CPU/memory utilization, and network traffic using monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, AWS CloudWatch, PRTG).
- Establish, test, and maintain disaster recovery (DR) protocols, automated system backups, and failover mechanisms for both cloud and local environments.
- Perform routine security audits, patch management, and vulnerability assessments to keep infrastructure resilient against threats.

Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 1+ years of experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or Infrastructure Specialist.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Technical Skills:
- OS Proficiency: Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat).
- Virtualization: VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, or Proxmox.
- Cloud Services: Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM) or Azure (VMs, Blob, Azure AD/Entra ID).
- Networking: Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, routing, and hardware firewalls (Fortinet, SonicWall, PfSense, etc.).
- Certifications (Preferred):
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect / SysOps Administrator OR Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
- Soft Skills:
- Solid analytical problem-solving and root-cause diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation habits.
- Ability to respond to critical system outages or maintenance during off-hours when necessary.
