Role Description The Studio Manager – Retail will oversee the daily operations of the Alka Hari studio in Kochi, ensuring a welcoming and premium in-store experience. This full time, on-site role includes managing the studio team, supervising visual merchandising, coordinating appointments and walk-ins, and guiding customers through product selections.

The Studio

Manager will handle sales targets, inventory checks, billing, and cash management, while maintaining accurate records and store hygiene standards. The role also involves building lasting customer relationships, handling feedback or concerns,



and collaborating with the design and marketing teams to support launches, events, and brand initiatives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact effectively with customers, team members, and management.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to deliver a refined, personalized studio experience and resolve issues promptly.
- Candidates should possess Team Management skills to supervise staff, allocate tasks, and maintain a positive, high-performance work environment.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to meet store targets, upsell and cross-sell products, and understand retail performance metrics.
- Candidates should ideally have prior experience in fashion or lifestyle retail, particularly in premium or boutique environments.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort with basic POS and inventory systems.
- Candidates should be able to work on-site full time in Kochi and be flexible with weekend and holiday schedules as needed.
- A diploma or degree in Retail Management, Fashion, Business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for strong, experienced candidates.
