Location and Compensation

- Based in Kolkata but work from home except for periodic meetups.
- Compensation is Rs 20k + up to 20% performance bonus per month. Performance is measured based on client feedback, timely delivery and quality of work.

Must Have:

- Degree or diploma in AV engineering and production
- High-spec hardware capable of storing, processing and exporting multi-cam 4k footage
- High-speed internet capable of transferring such heavy files
- Robust command of English - our clients and our team are spread across the region

Objectives and Key Metrics The main objective is to produce pristine, high-quality studio recordings

Role Description

- Prepare the studio for recording
- Set up and operate podcast studio equipment,



including cameras, microphones, audio mixers, and recording systems
- Manage and configure different camera, audio, lighting and other studio software
- Manage multi-camera recordings, teleprompter, audio monitoring, synchronization and real-time troubleshooting to ensure quality video
- Ensure high-quality audio through noise reduction, audio balancing, and sound enhancement
- Handle recording backups, file management and transfers to ensure error-free delivery
- Manage remote guests, hybrid recordings and livestreaming
- Collaborate with producers and editors to ensure smooth recording sessions and efficient workflows
- Explore AI-powered tools to improve audio quality and production efficiency
- Inventory and maintain equipment

Skills

- Expertise in audio engineering, microphone setup, gain staging, and audio routing
- Expertise with professional recording equipment such as mics, mixers, lights, DSLR cameras
- Expertise in multi-camera recording, audio-video synchronization, and lighting
- Expertise in Adobe audio and video software, iZotope or similar software
- Expertise in remote recording and streaming tools like Riverside, OBS Studio etc
- Knowledge of remote access tools such as TeamViewer

Experience

- 2-3 years studio production experience ideally with podcasts and Youtube videos
- 1-2 years audio and video editing, including podcasts, Youtube videos, Reels, promos etc
