Role Description The STEM Trainer will deliver robotics and STEM sessions to school students, guiding them through hands-on activities in electronics, robotics, coding, and automation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tamil Nadu, India, requiring regular visits to partner schools and STEM labs to conduct classes, workshops, and demonstrations. The trainer will prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and project guides aligned with BOTRIX curricula, ensuring that sessions are interactive, safe, and age-appropriate.

Day-to-day responsibilities include explaining concepts clearly, supervising students as they build and program projects, troubleshooting technical issues, and assessing learner progress.



The role also involves collaborating with school staff, supporting teacher training programs, documenting class outcomes, and contributing feedback to improve content and teaching methods.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge in STEM domains, such as basic electronics, robotics, coding (e.g., block-based or introductory text-based programming), and automation concepts.
- Candidates should possess practical skills in handling educational robotics kits, setting up STEM labs, assembling components, and guiding students through project-based learning activities.
- Candidates should possess effective teaching and facilitation skills, including classroom management, lesson planning, and the ability to explain technical topics in a simple, engaging manner for different age groups.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with school leadership, teachers, and parents while providing constructive feedback to students.
- Candidates should possess problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to diagnose common hardware and software issues during sessions and support students in finding solutions.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Engineering, Science, Computer Applications, Education, or a related field, along with prior experience in STEM training or teaching, would be beneficial.
- Familiarity with educational technology tools, willingness to travel within Tamil Nadu for school visits, and a genuine interest in mentoring young learners in innovation and creativity would be advantageous.
