What we are looking for

Role: SRE (Databricks)

Experience Range: 8 to 10 Years

Location: Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, bangalore,Pune, Delhi

Must Have:

- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks platform administration and production support
- Experience supporting and monitoring Databricks clusters, jobs and platform components
- Robust understanding of Databricks Lakehouse architecture
- Hands-on experience with Unity Catalog, including metastores, workspace integration and data governance
- Experience managing users, groups, service principals, RBAC and access controls
- Strong knowledge of incident management, production troubleshooting, RCA and problem management
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably Terraform
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, such as Jenkins or similar enterprise deployment tooling
- Automation/scripting experience using Python and/or Bash
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability practices; an internal SRE profile specifically references Dynatrace dashboards and monitoring.




- Understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, storage, identity management and security controls around Databricks

Essential:

- Monitor the health, reliability and availability of Databricks environments.
- Troubleshoot Databricks cluster, workspace, notebook, job and data-pipeline issues.
- Handle production incidents across severity levels and perform RCA/problem management.
- Build reusable infrastructure patterns for Databricks workspaces and account-level services.
- Implement and maintain Unity Catalog, access controls and secure storage integration.
- Automate operational and deployment activities using Terraform, CI/CD, Python/Bash.
- Integrate Databricks with enterprise identity, secrets, storage and governance services.
- Create SOPs, operational runbooks and RCA documentation.
- Identify recurring production failures and implement reliability improvements.

Minimum Qualification:

- 15 years of full-time education with minimum 50%
