Overview / Role Summary

This role is responsible for the design, development and debugging of microcontroller-based hardware,

including schematic and PCB design, component selection, bill of materials creation, technical documentation and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and debug embedded hardware
- Work with teams to define hardware requirements
- Produce hardware documentation and test plans
- Prepare schematics and perform PCB layout
- Select components and manage alternates
- Prepare BOMs
- Perform bring-up and troubleshooting
- Analyse power budgets and battery/solar options
- Manage hardware revisions

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Electronics engineering degree
- Solid analog/digital fundamentals
- Arm MCU experience
- Experience with Cadence Allegro PCB tools
- Hardware debugging proficiency

Preferred / Desirable Qualifications

- Experience with SAM V71
- Basic microcontroller C knowledge
- Familiarity with UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, RS232/RS485

Experience Requirements

- Cadence Allegro EDA tools
- Arm MCU hardware ecosystem
