Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tamil Nadu and Rest of India for a Site Engineer focused on fire fighting projects.

The Site

Engineer will oversee daily site activities, including installation, testing, and commissioning of fire protection systems such as hydrants, sprinklers, fire alarm systems, and suppression systems in accordance with approved drawings and standards. The role involves coordinating with project managers, contractors, and clients, monitoring progress, and resolving site-related technical issues to ensure timely and quality execution.

The Site

Engineer will conduct inspections, support quality control processes, maintain site documentation,



and ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and fire protection codes. The role also includes preparing basic reports, assisting in material planning, and supporting site handover and maintenance procedures.

Qualifications

- Candidates should be able to work effectively on site, managing day-to-day field activities and coordinating with multiple stakeholders (On Site).
- Candidates should possess strong communication skills to interact with clients, contractors, and internal teams and to provide clear updates and documentation (Communication).
- Candidates should have experience in quality control, including inspections, testing, and verification of installed fire protection systems against standards and drawings (Quality Control).
- Candidates should demonstrate understanding of fir fighting engineering principles relevant to fire fighting installation.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical is preferred.
- Knowledge of fire protection codes, local regulations, and industry standards (e.g., NFPA, NBC) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using basic project documentation tools; familiarity with MS Office and site reporting.
- Ability to work safely in field environments, with a strong focus on adherence to health and safety practices and site discipline.
- Prior experience in fire fighting projects installations will be beneficial.
