Job Title: Senior Engineer- SRE

Function: Site Reliability Engineering

Location: Bengaluru, India

Position Overview:

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with a Mobile Application focus at ANSR MedTech, you will be a key individual contributor responsible for designing, implementing, and operating reliable, scalable, and secure mobile applications within the ANSR MedTech product eco-system. You will work closely with development and product teams to embed reliability into every stage of the delivery lifecycle while driving automation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement and operate mobile observability for iOS and Android apps (crashes, ANRs, RUM, logs, custom events).
- Define mobile SLIs/SLOs and production-scoped alerting; reduce noise from debug/non-prod builds.
- Support mobile release health monitoring and major mobile incident response.
- Partner with iOS/Android teams on instrumentation, dashboards, runbooks, and privacy-safe telemetry.




- Partner with application teams to improve application reliability, performance and resilience.
- Develop automation for provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
- Implement observability best practices, including metrics, logging, and alerting.
- Participate in on call rotations and major incident response.
- Conduct root cause analysis and contribute to post incident reviews.
- Contribute to CI/CD initiatives to embed mobile observability in application build/deploy workflows
- Contribute to AI centric innovation initiatives around issue triage, stability analysis, and system monitoring

Education & Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, SRE, or DevOps roles.
- Experience operating production mobile apps with up-to-date observability (Datadog Mobile, New Relic Mobile or similar platforms).
- Understanding of iOS/Android crash and performance signals, versioning, and release channels.
- Hands on experience collaborating with mobile engineers on reliability and observability (instrumentation reviews, alert design).
- Prior experience with AI tool suites for code analysis and issue triage

Preferred:

- Ability to contribute to Kotlin/Swift code repositories to partner on instrumentation
- Experience validating telemetry on end-to-end on physical devices and in CI.
- Knowledge of BLE/connected-device apps and prior experience with field support is a plus
- Exposure or experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of networking, REST based client/server communication, security, and distributed systems.
- Exposure to integrating AI enabled agentic workflows for issue triage and field data analysis a big plus
