Key Responsibilities

- Ensuring software quality by designing, developing, and executing manual & automated tests to find bugs, verify functionality, and meet standards, excellent System-level perspective (integration of components).




- You will be be working closely with developers to analyze issues and improve processes through the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Creating detailed reports of issues and defects in firmware, perform Root Cause Analysis of reported bugs and track issues till software/design fixes are implemented in the next update.
- Performing regression, integration, system, and functional testing of ECUs (e.g., BMS, VCU, Motor and MCU).
- Designing and developing scripts for test automation, data processing and tool integration.
- Developing and maintaining automated hardware test benches to perform periodic tests for fortnightly builds.

Ideal Candidate

- Overall 3 to 6 years of experience in Embedded Software testing for automotive applications.
- Hand on experience in scripting languages: Python, Shell, Bash, or Batch scripts, knowledge in communication protocols like CAN, SPI and I2C.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross functional teams and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Hands on experience on automation tools like LabVIEW, Python or Canoe.
- Experience of working with automotive subsystems like BMS, VCU, MCU and Telematics.
