Primary Responsibilities

1.

Engineering

Calculations &

- Design Support
- Perform system-level engineering calculations for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), including battery capacity sizing (kWh/kW), cable sizing, and system efficiency calculations.
- Assist in preparing Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and basic electrical design documentation.
- Develop an understanding of battery technologies, including Lithium-ion chemistries such as LFP and NMC, and their applications in energy storage systems.

2. Tendering &
- Technical Evaluation
- Review customer requirements, Request for Quotation (RFQ) documents, and tender specifications in detail.
- Conduct tender analysis and technical evaluations of vendor and OEM offers.
- Prepare technical compliance matrices, comparative statements, and deviation reports.
- Support the preparation of technical proposals, bid submissions, and related documentation.

3.

Component

Selection &
- RFQ Management
- Identify and evaluate key BESS components, including battery systems, Power Conversion Systems (PCS), transformers, and switchgear.
- Prepare RFQs and coordinate with vendors and OEMs to obtain technical and commercial quotations.
- Evaluate and compare vendor quotations based on technical specifications, compliance, and project requirements.
- Assist in component selection to ensure suitability for project-specific applications.

Documentation &
- Project Support
- Prepare, review, and maintain engineering documents, including datasheets, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), technical specifications, and other project-related documents.
- Ensure proper documentation, version control, and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with internal engineering and project teams for design finalization, technical reviews, and approvals.finalisation

Secondary Responsibilities

- Site Commissioning &
- Technical Support
- Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of BESS systems at project sites.
- Assist with inspections, basic functional testing, and troubleshooting during commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with vendors, site engineers, and project teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.

2. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with procurement, project execution, engineering, and vendor teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Address technical queries from customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination between design engineering, procurement, and site execution teams.
- Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, from tender evaluation and design development to installation and commissioning.
