Position: Head – Finance & Accounts

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance & Accounts professional to oversee the company's financial operations, accounting activities, statutory compliances, financial reporting, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, journal entries, bank reconciliation, and maintenance of books of accounts.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Professional Tax (PT), and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Supervise GST returns, TDS returns, tax payments, reconciliations, and statutory filings.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and cash flow statements.
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, and working capital.
- Ensure accurate accounting in accordance with applicable Accounting Standards and company policies.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants, banks, and government authorities.




- Develop and maintain effective internal financial controls and accounting procedures.
- Review monthly financial reports, budgets, and variance analysis.
- Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
- Guide and supervise the accounts team to ensure accuracy and timely completion of work.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance; CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Excellent understanding of detailed accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Basic to good working knowledge of applicable Accounting Standards.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally ERP/Tally Prime or equivalent.
- Robust analytical, organisational, communication, and team management skills.
