Role Description The Senior Correspondent is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for reporting, writing, and editing in-depth stories on advertising, branding, marketing, and related industries. The role involves monitoring industry developments, sourcing stories, conducting interviews with leaders and practitioners, and producing timely news, analysis pieces, and long-form features for digital publication.

The Senior

Correspondent will collaborate with editors to refine story angles, ensure factual accuracy, and maintain editorial standards, while contributing to content planning and coverage priorities. Daily tasks include researching topics,



building and maintaining relationships with industry contacts, attending relevant events, and identifying emerging trends in areas such as creative culture, AI, AdTech, and MarTech. The role also requires working closely with the broader editorial and social media teams to optimize content for audience engagement and reach.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Writing and Research skills, with demonstrated ability to produce clear, accurate, and engaging editorial content.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to conduct interviews, manage sources, and engage professionally with industry stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Politics and its intersection with advertising, media, and public discourse, enabling nuanced analysis where relevant.
- Candidates should have prior experience in journalism, content writing, or reporting within media, marketing, or related domains.
- Candidates should have excellent editorial judgment, attention to detail, and familiarity with fact-checking and ethical reporting practices.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in office in a fast-paced newsroom environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- A bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, along with proficiency in digital publishing tools and basic analytics.
