Role Description The Senior Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based at the Ganges Valley School campus in Hyderabad. This position is responsible for guiding prospective learners and families through the admissions journey, including responding to inquiries, conducting campus tours, and explaining the school’s philosophy, programmes, and CBSE pathway. The role involves managing application workflows, coordinating entrance processes, maintaining accurate records in admissions systems, and following up with families at each stage.

The Senior Admissions

Counselor will collaborate closely with academic and administrative teams, support outreach events, represent the school at fairs and information sessions, and provide data-driven insights to improve admissions strategies.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle walk-in, phone, email and online enquiries, and counsel parents on the school's academic programmes, curriculum, facilities, fee structure and admission process.
- Conduct campus tours and one-on-one parent interactions,



presenting the school's strengths and values confidently.
- Explain eligibility criteria, age requirements, documentation and admission timelines for each grade.
- Follow up regularly with leads and maintain accurate records in the CRM or enquiry register.
- Achieve monthly enquiry-to-admission conversion and enrolment targets.
- Coordinate with the academic, accounts and administrative teams for admission forms, fee collection, documentation and onboarding.
- Support parents through the decision-making process by addressing concerns and queries professionally.
- Represent the school at open houses, admission drives, community events, preschool tie-ups and residential outreach programmes in and around Nizampet, Kukatpally, Miyapur, Bachupally and nearby areas.
- Support marketing activities such as campaigns, social media leads and referral programmes.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on enquiries, walk-ins, follow-ups and admissions.
- Maintain confidentiality of student and parent information and comply with the school's admission policies.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Prior experience in school admissions, education counselling or front-office or parent-facing roles in schools, preschools or educational institutions in Hyderabad.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Telugu; Hindi is an added advantage.
- Strong convincing, listening and interpersonal skills, with a warm, qualified and parent-friendly manner.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools and lead management systems preferred.
- Well-groomed, presentable, and comfortable handling parent interactions in person.

Qualification

- Graduate in any discipline.
- 1–4 years of experience in school admissions, counselling, education sales or a similar parent-facing role.
