Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP EPPM Technology Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of SAP Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management solutions for global transformation programs. The role will drive portfolio governance, project execution, resource planning, investment management, and integration with SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise platforms, ensuring alignment with business strategy and architectural standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Define SAP EPPM target architecture, solution strategy, and transformation roadmap.
- Lead solution design workshops, business requirement gathering, blueprinting, and architecture reviews.
- Design end-to-end solutions for portfolio management, project management, resource planning, investment management, and project governance.
- Architect integrations with SAP S/4HANA, FI/CO, MM/Ariba, Asset Management, and enterprise analytics platforms.
- Drive project costing, budget planning, forecasting, financial controls, and capital project management solutions.
- Ensure solution scalability, security, performance, and compliance with SAP Clean Core and cloud-first principles.
- Establish architecture governance, design authority, and solution review standards across global programs.
- Support SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and optimization initiatives.
- Lead global onsite/offshore teams and collaborate with business leaders, PMOs, and executive stakeholders.
- Drive process standardization across portfolios, projects, finance, procurement, and operations.
- Support RFP responses, solutioning, effort estimation, and pre-sales activities.
- Mentor solution architects, technical leads, and project delivery teams.

Must-Have Skills SAP Functional & Domain Expertise

- Strong experience in SAP Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM).
- Deep expertise in SAP Project System (PS).
- Experience in Portfolio Management, Project Management, Resource Management, and Investment Management.




- Strong understanding of project costing, budget planning, forecasting, and financial controls.
- Experience with Capital Project Management and project governance.

SAP Technology Expertise

- SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori applications.
- SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
- SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

Integration Experience

- Integration with SAP FI/CO, Procurement (MM/Ariba), and Asset Management (EAM/PM).
- Cross-functional integration across finance, operations, and project management processes.

Architecture & Leadership

- End-to-end SAP EPPM solution architecture experience.
- Experience leading global SAP implementation and transformation programs.
- Expertise in architecture governance, target-state design, and solution reviews.
- Strong stakeholder management, consulting, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience leading global delivery teams and engaging senior business stakeholders.

Good-to-Have Skills
- SAP Commercial Project Management (CPM).
- SAP Responsible Design and Production (RDP).
- SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), SAP Work Manager, and SAP Field Service Management.
- SAP Build Process Automation, SAP Datasphere, and SAP Signavio.
- Exposure to GenAI and AI-assisted project management solutions.
- TOGAF or SAP Enterprise Architecture frameworks.
- Experience in Retail, Manufacturing, Engineering & Construction, Utilities, or Consumer Goods.
- Knowledge of Agile, Secure, hybrid delivery models, Stage-Gate governance, and enterprise PMO transformation.

Preferred Certifications

Required

- Strong SAP EPPM and/or SAP Project System (PS) experience.

Preferred

- SAP S/4HANA Certification.
- SAP BTP Certification.
- TOGAF Certification.
- SAP Enterprise Architect Certification.
- Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology.

Ideal Candidate Profile A senior SAP architect with strong EPPM and PS expertise, proven experience designing enterprise-scale solutions, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP architectures while leading global transformation initiatives.
