Position: Engineer – Sales & Marketing

Reporting To: Regional Sales Manager / Head – Sales & Marketing

Experience: 6 – 10 Years

Responsibilities

- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and business development to generate enquiries and acquire new customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with consultants, EPC contractors, OEMs, and end users.
- Manage key accounts, understand customer requirements, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Review tenders, assess risks, and prepare techno-commercial proposals in coordination with internal teams.
- Lead commercial negotiations, finalize orders, and ensure profitability and contractual compliance.
- Coordinate with internal teams, factories, and logistics partners for timely order execution and delivery.
- Monitor payment collections, outstanding receivables, and commercial closures.




- Conduct cost analysis and evaluate vendor quotations to support procurement decisions.

Qualifications & Experience

- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute.
- Relevant experience in HVAC or engineering capital goods industries.
- Knowledge of cooling towers, chillers, AHUs, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and other industrial equipment.

Required Skills

- Solid techno-commercial negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret contracts, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of pumps, valves, gearboxes, motors, and rotating equipment.
- Understanding of product application engineering and performance.
- Strong customer relationship management and coordination skills.
