Continental Hospitals, a premier tertiary-care healthcare institution, is looking for an accomplished Robotic Gastrointestinal Surgeon with a strong academic and clinical background, extensive surgical expertise, and an extraordinary track record in advanced gastrointestinal surgery.

We are seeking a highly skilled surgeon who has worked with a premier institution or high-volume surgical centre and demonstrated excellence in complex surgical procedures, patient outcomes, and clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform complex gastrointestinal surgeries using robotic-assisted, laparoscopic, and minimally invasive techniques.
- Manage a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal surgical conditions, including complex GI and abdominal procedures, in accordance with the candidate’s training and clinical privileges.
- Demonstrate strong clinical judgement, technical precision, and evidence-based surgical decision-making.
- Work collaboratively with gastroenterologists, medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, anaesthesiologists, intensivists, and other multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure high standards of patient safety, pre-operative evaluation, post-operative management, and continuity of care.
- Contribute to clinical protocols, quality improvement initiatives, surgical education, and the development of advanced robotic surgery services.
- Support the growth of the Gastrointestinal Surgery programme through clinical excellence, patient confidence,



and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 7+ years of relevant post-qualification experience in gastrointestinal surgery.
- Relevant recognised qualifications in General Surgery and appropriate super-specialty training in Gastrointestinal Surgery, as applicable.
- Demonstrated expertise in robotic-assisted and minimally invasive gastrointestinal surgical procedures.
- Experience working at a premier healthcare institution or high-volume surgical centre is strongly preferred.
- An extraordinary surgical track record, with demonstrated experience in complex procedures and a strong commitment to clinical outcomes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, teamwork, and patient-management skills.
- A commitment to continuous learning and the adoption of advanced surgical technologies.
