Role Description The Relationship Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Madurai. The role involves managing and growing a portfolio of customers by understanding their financial needs and offering appropriate banking products and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining strong customer relationships, conducting regular follow-ups, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

The Relationship

Manager will work closely with branch teams to drive account acquisition, deposits, loans,



and cross-selling of products while adhering to regulatory and internal compliance standards. The role also includes resolving customer queries, monitoring account activity, preparing reports, and contributing to local business development initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong customer relationship management and client servicing skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term engagement.
- Sales and business development abilities, including prospecting, cross-selling, and meeting revenue and growth targets.
- Knowledge of retail banking products and services, along with basic understanding of credit, risk, and regulatory compliance.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to interact with diverse customer segments.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to handle multiple accounts and tasks systematically.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and banking systems; comfort with using digital tools for customer service and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field; relevant banking or financial services experience is preferred.
- Commitment to ethical conduct, fairness, and transparency, and willingness to work from the Madurai branch on-site.
