Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA Test Engineer with 4 – 6 years of experience with strong Guidewire BillingCenter functional knowledge and extensive hands-on experience across the complete Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). The role will be responsible for end-to-end quality validation covering requirements analysis, test planning, test design, execution, defect management, regression, integration testing, release validation, and test closure.

Key Responsibilities

- Own QA activities across the complete STLC, from requirement analysis and test planning through execution, defect management, regression, release validation, and test closure.
- Analyze business requirements, user stories, solution designs, and acceptance criteria to identify test scenarios, dependencies, coverage gaps, and quality risks.
- Design and execute functional, system, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for Guidewire BillingCenter.
- Validate key BillingCenter business workflows, including billing, invoicing, payments, collections, disbursements, refunds, write-offs, and account-level transactions, as applicable.
- Validate end-to-end integrations between BillingCenter and upstream/downstream applications and external systems where applicable.
- Prepare and maintain test scenarios, test cases, test data, requirements traceability, execution evidence, and test reports.
- Perform API/service and integration testing for BillingCenter interfaces.
- Manage defects through identification, logging, triage, root-cause analysis, retesting, and closure.




- Ensure comprehensive regression coverage and release-readiness validation for application changes.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, Automation Engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, defect triage, test-status reporting, and quality discussions.

Must-Have Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in Guidewire BillingCenter functional testing.
- Very strong hands-on experience across the complete STLC, from requirement analysis through test closure.
- Strong understanding of Guidewire BillingCenter business processes and end-to-end billing workflows.
- Strong experience in test planning, test scenario/case design, execution, defect management, regression, and test reporting.
- Strong knowledge of functional, system, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience validating BillingCenter integrations and end-to-end business transactions.
- Valuable experience in API/service and integration testing, using Postman or equivalent tools.
- Strong experience in test-data preparation, requirements traceability, and test evidence management.
- Strong defect management, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and Quality Engineering practices.
- Good analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

- AI/GenAI-assisted test generation and maintenance
- SQL/database validation
- Experience optimizing large enterprise regression suites
