Role Description The PYP 4 Facilitator (Mathematics) will design and deliver engaging, inquiry-based mathematics learning experiences aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme framework.

Responsibilities include planning transdisciplinary units, creating concept-driven lessons, differentiating instruction for diverse learners, and using formative and summative assessments to support student progress. The facilitator will collaborate with grade-level and subject teams, contribute to curriculum development, participate in professional learning,



and communicate regularly with families about student learning. The role also involves creating inclusive, safe, and stimulating classroom environments that encourage critical thinking, problem solving, and a positive attitude towards mathematics.

This is a full-time, in office role based at The Shri Ram Academy in Hyderabad.

Qualifications

- Strong mathematics teaching skills, with experience in inquiry-based and concept-driven learning at the primary school level.
- Knowledge of IB PYP curriculum, assessment practices, and transdisciplinary planning, or willingness to learn and adopt IB methodologies.
- Classroom management skills that support inclusive, student-centered, and collaborative learning environments.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, colleagues, and families.
- Commitment to reflective practice, continuous professional development, and integration of technology to enhance learning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; specialization in Mathematics or Elementary Education is preferred.
- Prior experience in an international or IB school setting is an advantage, along with openness to diverse cultures and perspectives.
