Role Description The PYP Facilitator (Grade 1 to 5) is a full-time, on-site role based at The Shri Ram Academy in Hyderabad. The facilitator will plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-driven lessons aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme framework for students in Grades 1 to 5. Daily responsibilities include designing transdisciplinary learning experiences, differentiating instruction, assessing student progress, and maintaining detailed documentation of learning and assessment.

The role involves collaborating with grade-level and subject teams, participating in professional development,



and contributing to school events and learning communities. The facilitator will also communicate regularly with families, support student well-being, and help create inclusive, safe, and joyful classroom environments that reflect TSRA’s values.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of IB PYP philosophy and practices, including inquiry-based, concept-driven, and transdisciplinary teaching.
- Proven classroom facilitation skills for Grades 1 to 5, including lesson planning, differentiated instruction, and formative and summative assessment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, colleagues, and families in a diverse school community.
- Ability to create inclusive, student-centered learning environments that promote curiosity, reflection, and social-emotional growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant discipline; formal teacher training and IB PYP experience or certification are highly preferred.
- Comfort with integrating educational technology and digital tools to support learning and documentation.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional learning, reflective practice, and contributing to a positive school culture.
- Experience working in international or progressive schools is an advantage; familiarity with multiple cultures and perspectives is beneficial.
