Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Proposal Engineer role based in Noida.

The Proposal

Engineer will be responsible for preparing and writing technical and commercial proposals for industrial procurement projects, ensuring accurate costing, compliance with client specifications, and alignment with WorldRef’s service offerings. Daily tasks include reviewing tender documents, coordinating with engineering, sales, and procurement teams, and gathering technical and commercial inputs from internal and external stakeholders. The role involves analyzing client requirements, creating competitive proposals, optimizing pricing and delivery terms, and supporting negotiations with potential buyers.





The Proposal

Engineer will also maintain proposal documentation, contribute to process improvements, and provide regular updates on bid status and outcomes.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in proposal preparation and proposal writing, including the ability to develop clear, accurate, and competitive technical and commercial offers.
- Foundational knowledge in electrical engineering or a related engineering discipline, with the ability to understand industrial equipment, utilities, and process requirements.
- Experience in sales and customer engagement, including supporting business development teams in pre-sales activities and negotiations.
- Understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and cost estimation for industrial products and services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or another relevant engineering field; a diploma with strong experience may also be considered.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and solid analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word) and familiarity with CRM or ERP tools used in proposal and procurement workflows.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, manage multiple bids simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
- Prior experience in industrial, power, utilities, or process industries, and exposure to cross-border business environments is an advantage.
