Role OverviewThe Project Manager will be responsible for managing on-site construction activities, ensuring timely project execution, maintaining quality standards, and complying with safety and regulatory requirements. The role involves leading site teams and coordinating with contractors, consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects within the approved timelines and budget.

Key Responsibilities1. Project Execution & Site Management

- Manage day-to-day construction activities and monitor site progress.
- Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site teams to maintain productivity and quality.

2. Planning & Scheduling

- Assist in preparing and monitoring project schedules and work programs.
- Track project milestones and ensure timely completion of activities.
- Coordinate with planning teams to address delays and maintain project progress.

3. Budget & Cost Control

- Monitor project expenditure and ensure compliance with approved budgets.
- Review contractor bills, material consumption, and work progress.
- Coordinate with Quantity Surveying (QS) and procurement teams for cost optimization.

4. Quality Control

- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and approved drawings.
- Conduct regular inspections of construction works and materials.
- Implement corrective measures to address quality deviations.

5. Safety & Statutory Compliance

- Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations and site safety procedures.




- Conduct safety inspections and ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Monitor compliance with applicable construction regulations and statutory approvals.

6. Coordination & Communication

- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical and site-related issues.
- Conduct regular site meetings and project progress reviews.
- Prepare and submit progress reports and relevant project documentation to management.

7. Risk Management

- Identify potential technical, operational, and construction risks.
- Implement preventive and corrective measures to minimize project delays.
- Resolve site challenges proactively to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 10–12 years of relevant experience in construction project execution and site management.
- Experience managing large-scale private residential and hospitality projects.
- Robust knowledge of construction methodologies, quality assurance, and site safety standards.
- Proven leadership, team management, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple project activities and deliver results within defined timelines.
- Willingness to relocate to Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
