Job Summary

We are looking for a capable and result-oriented Project Engineer to manage day-to-day operations at legacy waste management and bio-mining project sites. The candidate will be responsible for supervising waste processing, ensuring productive machinery operation, monitoring manpower and equipment utilization, maintaining safety standards, and achieving daily project targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily operations at legacy waste dumpsites and bio-mining project locations.
- Monitor the excavation, screening, segregation, and processing of legacy waste.
- Ensure efficient operation of trommel screens, conveyors, shredders, excavators, loaders, and other earthmoving equipment.
- Coordinate with EM In-Charges, operators, drivers, and site workers to achieve daily production targets.
- Monitor the segregation and recovery of materials such as Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF), recyclables, soil-like material, and inert waste.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, transportation, and disposal of processed waste as per project requirements.
- Track daily production, waste processing quantities, machinery utilization, fuel consumption,



and manpower attendance.
- Prepare daily progress reports (DPRs) and maintain operational records.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate preventive maintenance and breakdown resolution.
- Implement safety procedures and ensure the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at the project site.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, client representatives, contractors, and other departments for smooth project execution.
- Ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations, contractual requirements, and site-specific operating procedures.
- Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and reduce downtime.
- Monitor work progress against project schedules and report delays or operational challenges to management.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Candidates with relevant experience in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering may also be considered, depending on project requirements.
