About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer with 5+ years of experience who has solid expertise in Power BI, data modelling, dashboard development, and business intelligence. The ideal candidate must have a good understanding of ERP business processes, finance terminologies, and financial reporting, along with the ability to translate business requirements into meaningful dashboards and actionable insights.

The candidate should be comfortable working with business stakeholders, understanding financial and operational data, and delivering high-quality BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Gather and analyse business requirements from finance, operations, and other functional teams.
- Develop data models, complex DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and cleansing using Power Query.
- Connect Power BI with ERP systems, SQL databases, Excel files, and other data sources.
- Understand ERP workflows and business processes, including procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, inventory management, and financial accounting.
- Develop financial dashboards covering revenue, expenses, profitability, budgets, cash flow, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other financial KPIs.
- Work with stakeholders to validate business logic, reconcile financial figures, and ensure data accuracy.
- Optimise report performance, data models, and refresh schedules.
- Implement row-level security (RLS), workspace access controls, and Power BI Service deployment practices.
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies and provide ongoing support and enhancements.




- Prepare technical documentation and maintain reporting standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, and data modelling.
- Positive knowledge of SQL, including joins, aggregations, subqueries, and query optimisation.
- Strong understanding of ERP processes and finance/accounting terminologies.
- Experience developing financial and management reporting dashboards.
- Understanding of financial statements, including Profit & Loss (P&L;), Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
- Knowledge of key financial concepts such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost Centre, Budget vs. Actuals, Revenue, COGS, and Gross Margin.
- Experience integrating and analysing data from ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with ERPs/SAP BW/SAP HANA/SAP Business One/Oracle ERP/Microsoft Dynamics.
- Knowledge of Power BI Service, gateways, scheduled refresh, deployment pipelines, and workspace administration.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure data services.
- Familiarity with financial reconciliation, month-end closing reports, and management information systems (MIS).

Candidate Requirements
- Must be willing to work from our Pune office.
- Immediate joiners or candidates serving a short notice period will be strongly preferred.
- Candidates should have strong practical experience in Power BI development and the ability to understand business and finance requirements.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
