Role Description The PHP Developer Associate will work as part of the product and engineering team to design, develop, test, and maintain PHP-based web applications that power PInterview’s online platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and secure server-side code, integrating front-end components, debugging and resolving technical issues, and participating in code reviews. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to implement new features, optimize performance,



and ensure a reliable user experience for students and professionals worldwide.

This is a full-time remote role.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Back-End Web Development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills, with solid experience in PHP and related frameworks.
- Candidates should possess Front-End Development skills, including working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and integration with server-side components.
- Candidates should possess Software Development and Programming skills, with familiarity in version control (e.g., Git), APIs, and database design (e.g., MySQL).
- Relevant experience with building and maintaining scalable web applications, troubleshooting production issues, and implementing secure coding practices.
- Robust problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with modern PHP frameworks (such as Laravel or Symfony) and cloud-based deployment environments is beneficial.
