Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Vadodara. The Pharmacist will dispense medications accurately according to prescriptions, verify dosages, and check for potential drug interactions. The role includes counseling customers on proper medication use, side effects, and storage, while maintaining detailed records in accordance with regulatory requirements.

The Pharmacist will manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and ensure that all medicines are stored and handled properly. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with store staff to provide a safe and welcoming environment,



supporting health awareness initiatives, and upholding Dawaa Dost’s standards for affordable, high-quality healthcare.

Qualifications

- Registered Pharmacist with a valid license, holding a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized institution.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, prescription interpretation, drug interactions, and dosage calculations.
- Ability to counsel patients clearly on medication use, precautions, and lifestyle considerations, with excellent communication skills in English and local languages.
- Experience with pharmacy operations, including inventory management, billing systems, and compliance with local regulatory and ethical standards.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to patient safety and confidentiality in all aspects of dispensing and record-keeping.
- Comfort working in a rapid-paced, customer-focused retail healthcare setting, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with digital pharmacy or POS systems; previous experience in community pharmacy or hospital pharmacy is an advantage.
