Role Description The Paint Shop Manager is a full time, on-site role based in the Greater Delhi Area. The role involves overseeing the daily operations of the paint shop, including planning and coordinating painting schedules, managing workflow, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Manager will supervise paint shop staff, monitor equipment performance, ensure optimal use of materials, and maintain inventory levels for paints and consumables. The role includes collaborating with production, quality, and maintenance teams to meet delivery targets, resolve process issues, and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Operations Management skills, including experience managing production processes, workflows, and performance metrics in a paint shop or similar manufacturing environment.
- Candidates should possess Store Management skills, including inventory control, material handling, stock planning, and coordination with procurement for paints, chemicals, and consumables.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service and Customer Experience skills, with the ability to understand requirements, address concerns, and support high-quality outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills, including the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams, prepare reports, and provide instructions to shop-floor staff.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering, or related field are preferred.
- Experience in automotive or engineering paint shops, knowledge of painting processes (e.g., spray painting, powder coating), and familiarity with safety and environmental regulations will be beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, implement 5S and lean practices, and use basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, ERP systems) is an advantage.
