Simpalm is a custom software development company with offices in the USA and India. Simpalm is looking to build multiple applications for Windows using .Net Framework. We are looking for a mid to senior level developer who can work with the existing team to develop these applications.
These applications require integration with external devices, any experience in integrating devices with windows applications will be highly appreciated. You will be part of Simpalm’s team, working with USA based project managers. We are looking to fill this position sooner.
Responsibilities:
- Build Windows applications that integrate with APIs and external devices.
- Develop robust software to control physical devices via SDKs, APIs, and low-level drivers.
- Ensure transactional integrity between the software UI and APIs.
- Work with onshore project managers to design and develop the software.
- Work with the offshore QA team on testing and software quality assurance.
- Architect "Device-level" logic to manage hardware states, error handling, and diagnostics.
- Optimize communication performance between software layers and external components.
Key Requirements:
- Expertise in C#/.NET Desktop development.
- Technical Deep-Dive: Ability to read and implement technical specifications and protocol manuals.
- Device Integration: Experience interfacing with external peripherals (Serial, USB, TCP/IP, or Bluetooth).
- Troubleshooting: Experience troubleshooting the software applications.
- Preferred: Any experience with D-level programming or Hardware integration over serial port communication.
